Subject: Disappearance of Mr Roop Chand
ADVERTISEMENTS:
Sir,
At 10 pm last night, my cousin Mr Roop Chand, who has been staying with us for the past one month, went to buy paan from a shop that is opposite your police station. He has not returned since, though more than 12 hours have passed.
He is six feet tall, dark and clean-shaven. He walks with a slight limp, which is the result of a scooter accident he met with two years ago. He is 22 years old.
ADVERTISEMENTS:
He was wearing a white kurta and grey trousers when he left our house last night.
He is a permanent resident of 8 Barrackpore Place, and has been visiting offices in Kolkata in search of a job as an accountant.
I would be very grateful if you could kindly pursue the matter with the utmost urgency. My family and I would be only too glad to provide whatever help might be necessary.
Yours faithfully,
Vinod Tiwari
