Re: Miserable plight of the road and the urgent need to repair it.
Dear Sir,
I, as president of the local Zonal Committee, have the honour to bring to your kind attention to the miserable plight of the road which has passed through____________ (Name of the Locality) needing immediate repairs of the same.

The inhabitants of this area are afflicted very much which beggar’s description. During rainy season when this road is submerged the pedestrians especially the old people stumble in the water and in many cases their legs are fractured as the road has given way completely.
The road is also having several ditches dug by the personnel of the electricity department to locate the fault of the underground electric line and when the fault in the line is repaired by them, they do not even care to fill up the ditches properly. Needless to mention, the road is now a source of terror for the pedestrians.
Your good self is well aware of the fact that the road has remained without repairs for the last more than five years, as a result of which the condition of the road has further deteriorated beyond description.
If there is delay in repairing the road, it will cause extreme hardship to the inhabitants of this locality and the people will stop wading through the submerged road during rains.
