Dear Sir,
I regret to inform you that my above car covered under your Insurance Policy No.______________ met with an accident on_______________ (Date) at ____________ (Address). While my car was negotiating a curve, another car coming from opposite direction dashed against its (my car) causing substantial damage to the same.
After police verification the car is now kept at the garage of my house. I would request you to intimate me over ‘phone the date and time when your surveyor would be deputed to carry out the survey of the car so that I can also ask the repairer to be present at the time of the survey.
This will facilitate the surveyor to arrive at the amount to be spent in undertaking the repairs of the car in consultation with the repairer. After repairs are done I shall submit to you the receipted bill of the repairer for your arranging reimbursement of the amount, as decided.
