Dear Sir,

At about ____________ (Time) on ____________ (Date) I boarded a state transport bus No.____________, ____________ (Place) at whose destination was up to ____________ (Place) when the bus was ahead of its destination, the passengers on board started alighting from the bus and obviously the crowd in the bus became thin and I put my portfolio on the empty seat beside me.

Unfortunately, I forgot to take my portfolio with me while getting down from the bus at the destination stoppage of the said bus, please be informed that my portfolio was containing the following items:

I am very much optimistic that the bus conductor of the bus must have deposited my portfolio with your lost property section treating it as unclaimed property. Please confirm that my portfolio is now with your lost property section when I will fetch the same by giving necessary proofs.
