Marieta Maglas was born in Russia and she is a well known poet in Romania now. She is a medical student who has completed her dentistry from the University of Medicine in Cluj-Napoca. She started her poetry writing at the age of fourteen and won the second prize in National Award for Poetry and her poems were being published on different English literary magazines.
Maglas describes herself a person who just loves writing as she believes writing is a noble calling, where you could express your feelings like anger, love, with more clarity and could be more expressive. She loves to read, and she does her writing not for fame, glory or money, but just for the feel of her expressions and expressions where people could read and understand when put in simple format. Writing is expression of thoughts and there is no other better was of being expressive other than writing is what Maglas believes.

The beginning of the poem, purely reflects that the narrator is lost in his past thoughts and life and thinks about the initial days that he met his love, how the words of love was of reassurance and support. How he misses those words now. He recalls that when they were in love, those loving words that he wrote on the sand at the beach and how the tide washed away those words and they kept writing again.

He them puts that question, do you remember? Here the narrator is asking the missing soul, whether it is being remembered how much of fun it was. It is then explained, that the narrator is purely lost in thoughts about his past , where he remembers how much they loved each other and how each day passed by beautifully and how they have been to places and passed the seasons with all the love they had.
He then realizes that he has been in the shore for sometime, lost in thought and the water has wetted him and the wind dried him among the shells, yet he did not realize where he was, as he was just in his deep thought and past beautiful days. He then realizes that his life partner is no longer with him and is in the eternal distance. He says to the wind and to the sea, he still loves her and how much she is being missed each day, each moment and even after many years, the missing is really painful.
To the last he says, all he can do now is only feel his love through the water waves at the beach, that passes through his feet, yet he feels like a silk slipped dress , when he tries to touch it as he knows that he will never be able to touch her and feel her anymore. He just longs to kiss her grey haired temple for one more time, but the revert that he gets is the kiss of their child.
A poem beautifully said about the depth of love among a couple and how much one person is being missed on being passed away. Any reader would feel the pain and understand the love between them and that `s how Maglas expresses her writings.
