Sub: Erratic Conduct of the Postman
I am constrained to bring to your notice, the negligence on the part of the postman of our locality.
For the past few months, he has not been delivering our letters. Rather he has been handing them over to children of the lane. He was even caught throwing the mail of the area, in a dustbin. When accosted for his irrational behaviour, he started using foul and abusive language.
We all have proper letter boxes with house numbers marked on them. I fail to understand why he does not drop our mail in the respective letter boxes meant for the purpose.

Late delivery of letters has also been observed. May I request you to look into this matter and to instruct the concerned postman to discharge his duties more seriously and responsibly.
